Achievements of staff recognised at Local Business Charity Awards

04 September 2015

We were delighted to have been nominated for a second year as finalists in this year’s Local Business Charity Awards.

We were put forward for two awards by Ullenwood charity, National Star, who highlighted both our corporate and charity team efforts for them over twelve months.

We raised close to £11,000 for the charity during our 2014-2015 financial year which has been used to support young people with complex disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

The judging panel was made up of representatives from the local community, some of whom included MP for Cheltenham Alex Chalk, Gloucestershire Echo editor Matt Holmes, the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire Dame Janet Trotter DBE and Chair of GFirst LEP Dr Diane Savory OBE.

The awards were established in 2014 to recognise the help and support given by Gloucestershire businesses to Gloucestershire charities.
