Nick walks his ‘21st’

01 April 2008

Partner Nick Cox has come up with an energetic and philanthropic way of marking his 21 years in Cheltenham. He moved here from Bath in 1987 and now plans to retrace his route .. but this time on foot (and, it has to be said, 21 years older!).

Nick hopes the sixty-something mile walk will also raise funds for the National Association for Colitis and Crohns (www.nacc.org.uk). Always one for a wager, he is inviting sponsors to estimate how long it will take him (in hours, minutes and seconds) from the time he starts walking (outside Bath Abbey) to the finishing line (Municipal Offices in the Promenade).

Willans is donating a mystery prize for the person with the closest guess.
