Willans supports the 20th Gloucestershire Business Awards

11 April 2017

We are delighted to continue to lend our support to the Gloucestershire Business Awards, which is now in its 20th year of acknowledging local business talent.

Our firm is sponsoring the ‘Family Business of the Year’ award, open to companies large and small across the county in which founding families are still significantly involved.

The judges will be considering factors such as the development of future leaders and how the business has managed to transition between generations.

Commenting on our involvement, Paul Symes-Thompson, head of our corporate & commercial team said: “We have excellent lawyers with first class credentials who help many Gloucestershire businesses on their journeys, from start-ups to large companies.

“We come across many inspirational businesses and are pleased to be supporting an award that recognises talented family-owned county businesses, particularly in the year in which we celebrate our own 70 years in business.”

Ever since the firm was established in 1947, Willans has helped many outstanding businesses, often family-owned, and people who work or live in Gloucestershire as well as further afield. We offer everything you would expect from an experienced, high-calibre team, plus an exceptional degree of continuity and personal attention. With 70 years of experience working with family businesses, our lawyers are sensitive to the unique dynamics and challenges they face.

The Gloucestershire Business Awards will be held at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse on 5 October this year. Visit the awards website for more details.

Our multi-disciplinary team spends all day, every day helping companies large and small with complex commercial, employment and property business decisions. Contact us for clear guidance and support.
